Caldera - if you look it up online, you will see it described as a geological formation, an ancient volcano that has collapsed in upon itself. To the observer, it may seem flat and docile. However, beneath the surface the volcanic activity shows it is still very much ‘alive’. In Spanish, Caldera means cauldron. Obviously an archetypal means of cooking food. Symbolically, the cauldron is associated with magic, transformation and witch’s brew. The vessel in which transformation takes place, the cauldron, must be symbolically resilient to support what is often radical change. It is my mission to give individuals the tools to support their own transformation as well as teach them to understand and identify what is transpiring ‘under the surface’.
